GLOBAL URGENCY

The seafood industry touches the lives of millions of vulnerable people. More than 110 million people get their livelihoods from small fisheries. Companies worldwide are adopting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices and implementing programs to address critical issues impacting workers in their surrounding communities. Employees who are well supported are more engaged and satisfied, leading to higher levels of motivation and productivity.

Across Thai Union’s global footprint, there are differing societal issues specific to the regions where we operate. Social impact initiatives provide an opportunity to give back to communities, including pets, in ways they can benefit the most. Health, education, and childcare programs support fundamental societal issues, and bring much needed resources to the forefront.

INTEGRATED APPROACH

Through programs focused on education, climate awareness, mental health, disaster relief (food donations), and environmental issues impacting society (e.g., degradation, ocean bound plastics, pollution), we will provide meaningful support for the communities in which we operate across our global business.

We are dedicated to supporting solutions for each country’s unique needs.

Across communities, we are supporting livelihoods and leading our industry by investing funds to fill the gaps in the areas our supply chain does not touch. Supporting our people and our communities helps create a healthier and more sustainable world.
